We enjoyed the public holiday today, and took a moment to remember the reason for it. We are both so grateful for the valiant men and women from Australia and New Zealand who served our countries and helped forge the freedom we live in today.

In celebration, Stephen and his mate Dameo took part in Albury golf course’s Anzac Day Two Man Ambrose competition. Stephen wanted me to go along and watch/support him, so I requested that I get to drive the golf cart around all day. And that I did!

It was the most beautiful day, and the golf course was lovely, with lots of native birds and kangaroos around about the place. Stephen and Dameo came 29th out of about 50. A good result for their first comp and the fact that they only joined the club and started getting back into the sport a month or so ago.
